FOUNDER & OWNER
Dan
Originally from the UK and raised in Australia from the age of two, Daniel brings over 20 years of experience to the salon floor. Inspired early on by his mum, a hairdresser herself, Daniel has built a career grounded in inspiration, skill, care and genuine connection. He’s a proud girl-dad to 10-year-old Amity, a trail marathon runner, salon owner and the kind of person people often describe as calm, steady, and refreshingly stress-free. Daniel holds a L’Oréal Colour Degree and specialises in women’s colour and Great Lengths Hair Extensions. As the owner of Ivy Reed, he’s known not only for his attention to detail and craftsmanship but also for being the go-to 24-hour handyman—and for making a killer margarita!

Rowan
Hi, I’m Rowan – your Scottish/Australian hair stylist with a laid-back vibe and a serious passion for creating hair that makes you feel amazing.
I’m on a lifelong quest to visit as many countries as possible, I’m absolutely obsessed with dogs and love nothing more than getting out in nature. I’m also one half of the electronic music duo Sujokalo – music and creativity are big parts of who I am. People usually describe me as happy-go-lucky, easy-going, and a bit silly – I love bringing that fun energy into the salon.
With 25 years’ experience and classic training from Vidal Sassoon, I specialise in precision cutting (men and women), styling, colours, and colour corrections. There’s nothing I enjoy more than a full hair transformation – turning “meh” into “wow”!
You’ll find me in the salon Monday to Saturday with flexible hours to suit your schedule.

Hey guys, I’m Louis – your French/Australian barber with a passion for sharp, stylish men’s cuts and a laid-back vibe.
Growing up my mum was a hairdresser, so I guess you could say it’s in the blood! I’m a proud new girl-dad to my gorgeous daughter Lou, an avid surfer and a total adrenaline junkie. People often say I’m super accommodating and always happy – I just love making people feel great.
I’m the owner of Le Garçon Salon and Maison Le Garçon Perfumes (happy to chat scents too!). And yes, I make a killer French Ricard (pastis) – the perfect way to unwind.
With over 15 years’ experience and a diploma from the prestigious KL Hairdressing Academy in France, I specialise in men’s hairstyling and barbering – from classic cuts to modern styles and old-school, precision, cut-throat shaving.

Hi, I’m Mel (Melissa Touchard), your friendly French/Australian hair stylist with a passion for creating beautiful colour that suits you perfectly.
Being French I’m a total wine enthusiast, also a proud mum to two gorgeous fur babies and you’ll often find me down at the beach soaking up the sun.
If the client is up for it I absolutely love a good chat while we transform your hair – I love connecting with different people, it’s one of the best parts of my job!
With over 18 years’ experience, I specialise in women’s colour and love working with L’Oréal Professional products to deliver stunning, long-lasting results.

Connie
Hi there! I’m a passionate hairdresser with over 25 years in the industry and I absolutely love what I do! Outside of the salon there’s nothing better than spending a day cooking up a storm, entertaining friends and family (I do love a good chat and a catch up) or jetting off on a new adventure. People often call me a bit of a “machine” because I thrive on connecting with others and bringing energy to everything I do. I’m an all-rounder when it comes to hair: expert in colouring, precision cutting, and specialising in hair extensions (nano beads and Great Lengths).
My love for makeup and wedding styling comes from years of working with brides from all sorts of beautiful cultures – it’s always such a joy. I’ve trained through the Schwarzkopf Professional Academy, hold a Diploma (Cert IV) in Hairdressing and Business and I’m always keen to learn more. Right now, I’m studying to become a trichologist to better understand hair and scalp health. You’ll find me at my gorgeous studio salon, Enhance Styling in Ryde, or at this fabulous space; Ivy Reed Salon in the Sydney CBD.
